1- For starters, pick (at least) three OCs to work with. You'll be using those three for the rest of the meme so choose carefully! Now, introduce them.

Brody Sterling: Brody doesn't have his shit together. He flees from his problems and doesn't like the weight of responsibility. He worries and constantly second guesses himself. He also appears fairly calm and with it if you don't know him well. Not many people know him well.

Maverick Delancey: Maverick is a cold perfectionist. He won't settle for anything less than being the best, and will run anyone down who even attempts to go for his spot. He's a cruel sociopath, but has a dangerous charm that attracts people to him. His two younger brothers hate him.

Conner Harrison: Conner's life revolves around music; the creation of it as well as listening to it. He values freedom highly and doesn't like to be told what to do. He's been described as "sweet with a bite to him." wink.gif Pretty accurate. There is no front. Conner is exactly as you see him.

2- What kind of childhood did your OCs have?

Brody: His mother loved him, but she wasn't always there for him when he needed her. He received very little guidance growing up, especially from males. He never knew his father, only an endless string of men his mother brought home. He spent his childhood looking after his mother rather than getting to play or socialize with others his age, crippling him socially.

Maverick: Not sure yet on specifics of parents, but Maverick was always in need of control. He didn't play as a child, he planned schemes and put them into play. This often involved children at school and his brothers, and usually ended with Maverick getting the other children into trouble. He enjoyed reading and intellectual activities.

Conner: His mother killed herself when he was a child, and he's never really forgotten that fact. Deep in his sub-conscious, he probably worries he will die young, and that's why he embraces every part of life as he does. His father and both stepmothers pushed him away. He was always a very creative child with a big imagination.

3- What do your OCs do for a living?

Brody: Two part time jobs: One at a local bookstore, and another as a waiter in a restaurant.

Maverick: Police officer.

Conner: Busker.

4- Who or what do your OCs love/hate?

Brody: Loves: Being with Jenson, coffee, shopping. Hates: Fucking up with Jenson, confrontation, drunks.

Maverick: Loves: Himself, control. Hates: Challengers to his authority, chaos, back-talk, morons.

Conner: Loves: Music, freedom, living it up, people with what he calls a glow. Hates: Being told what to do, stuffy types.

5- How do your OCs relax?

Brody: Go to a cafe and get some coffee. Take a walk. Sleep.

Maverick: He doesn't relax.

Conner: Gets out the guitar and plays a song. Writes a song. Finds some kind of substance to use.

6- Do your OCs have goals? What do they dream about accomplishing/doing?

Brody: He wants to live up to his mother's expectations of him. He wants to understand Jenson. He wants to stop messing up all the time. He wants to make something of himself.

Maverick: To take over the world. Which may be very true. He also would like to be remembered for something big in history. For the short term, he will settle for taking the highest seat at the station.

Conner: What goals? He just wants to enjoy life, be free to be himself, and get his music out there before an attentive audience.

7- Have your OCs ever committed any serious crimes?

Brody: Does having sex with a willing minor really count?

Maverick: He's been brought in for assault charges twice. He's also done a few other things his co-workers know nothing about.

Conner: He's stolen money and shoplifted. He's done drugs. He's had sex with people he shouldn't have. He didn't wait for the legal age to try his hand at alcohol. But nothing serious. biggrin.gif

8- Your OCs are listening to music. What songs are they listening to?

Brody: Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, All American Rejects, The Killers, Shontelle. He goes with popular music, for the most part.

Maverick: Voltaire, opera, or classical music.

Conner: Stone Sour, Dashboard Confessional, The Gay Blades. He also likes Envy on the Coast, Third Eye Blind, The Wallflowers, Short Stack etc. He likes rock and alternative music.

9- What animals would best represent your OCs?

Brody: A stray dog. Watches others from the outside and wants to be a part of it, but is too nervous to let anyone close.

Maverick: A snake. Unpredictable, dangerous, and slithery. You never know when he'll strike.

Conner: A cat. Playful, deceptively lazy in appearance with a tendency to a cute side but liable to scratch.

10- Your OCs find a million dollars on the street one day. What do they do with the money?

Brody: Looks around, then stuffs it in his pockets or bag. That's a lot of money! He'd spend it in a week.

Maverick: He'd turn it in of course. He doesn't need the money, and he is a cop. It's probably marked bills, anyway.

Conner: He hates the idea of money, but that is a LOT of money. He'd hide it in various places around town. Not a good idea to be carrying all that money at once. Just asking to be targeted. He'd give his sister some of it, to pay her back for all her help. He'd also be able to finally record.

11- Your OCs are stuck babysitting a whiny baby/kid. What will they do about it?

Brody: He's surprisingly responsible, due to looking after his mother. Still, children are out of his depth. He'd do his best to keep the baby clean and fed, but be terrified he was doing it wrong the whole time. He'd even end up playing with the baby and getting attached.

Maverick: He hates children. He would dump the baby on one of his brothers or threaten to kill it. Caring for such a thing is far too beneath him.

Conner: He would have a blast. He loves kids. He'd read stories with voices, sing all kinds of dopey songs, and get down on the floor to play. He just wouldn't have a clue what to do when it started bawling.

12- If your OCs were suddenly turned into the opposite sex, how would they react?

Brody: He wouldn't even know where to begin feeling. Call his mum? Hide from Jenson?

Maverick: He'd kill himself. He's no longer perfect. "Who the fuck wants to be a woman?!"

Conner: It's all about the inside. Nothing would really change.

13- What would your OCs do for a Klondike bar?

Brody: "If it's anything drastic, not doing it. They're not that great."

Maverick: "Are you kidding me? Get that thing out of my face."

Conner: "I don't know. What would I do?"
